Founded in 2022, E-Kuota Africa is an educational support and strategy consultancy, based in Nairobi, that offers pedagogical advice to institutions to enhance the implementation of their educational philosophy. We specialise in curriculum advice, strategic leadership support and offer bespoke training opportunities. Our workshops are interactive and dynamic, providing tailor-made training. Through our training initiatives, institutions will see improved outcomes and standards.

LEVI WATAKA
FOUNDER
Levi is a music graduate and is principal resident conductor of the Nairobi Orchestra with whom he has worked for over 16 years. He has conducted and worked with choirs and orchestras across East Africa, including the National Youth Orchestra of Kenya and the Safaricom Youth Orchestra. Levi was Director of Music at St Andrew’s School, Turi and the Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi, and is currently Assistant Director of Music at Peponi House Preparatory School.
Levi has considerable experience in developing and implementing institutional strategy, policy, and curriculum in diverse educational and community settings. These include the educational, operational, and administrative infrastructure for the National Youth Orchestra of Kenya, The Safaricom Youth Orchestra, The Nairobi Children’s Orchestra and Muziki Changa. Levi oversees the educational development at the Art of Music Foundation, including tutor training and ensemble development for the renowned Ghetto Classics music programme. His skill set lies in inspiring performance skills and as an outstanding leader, coupled with a deep understanding of what it takes to inspire and educate.
EMMA MORTON
FOUNDER
Emma is a seasoned professional in the development and implementation of educational strategies and policies. She has detailed experience in delivering training workshops for companies and schools. Her skill set lies in outstanding teaching skills, high quality training expertise, innovation and she is a specialist in curriculum development and leadership skills.

Emma graduated from the University of St Andrews with a MA in French and Spanish. Emma gained invaluable teaching experience in prestigious secondary schools such as Peponi Secondary School, Stowe School and Radley College, before becoming Deputy Head at Peponi House Preparatory School. She has mentored trainee teachers, in an official capacity for the University of Nottingham. She is currently completing a MSc in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh, specialising in course design for digital environments, digital futures for learning, and digital games and the psychology of learning.
